The twelve months of Breeze Events

 On the first month of 2014 my assistant said to me...

 1. Moroccan inspired birthday celebration. On the gorgeous beachfront at Lennox Head, Breeze Events erected a huge red Nomadic tent. Think Lawrence of Arabia (minus the camels) with gold, black and red plush style, hanging lanterns, scattered cushions and Moroccan rugs. Guests enjoyed gourmet tapas and canapés while dancing the night away in the salty summer breeze.

On the second month of 2014 my assistant said to me…

2. Birthday celebration. Word had gotten round Breeze Events organise a great Moroccan soirée. A 50th in a unique penthouse apartment at Surfers Paradise, themed in a sultry Moroccan setting. Lanterns, draped fabric in hot pink, orange, purple, red, green and aqua. Hurricane vases filled with exotic candles and scattered cushions around mini coffee tables.

On the third, fourth and so on right through to the twelfth month of 2014, Breeze Events hosted twelve successful events.

3. Big Day Out 40th Birthday. We coordinated and designed a Big Day Out theme in a private yard in Broadbeach. Guest enjoyed a live band, DJ, chill out zone and munched on gourmet burgers.

4. Mudgeeraba Street Party & Heritage Week. We coordinated with the Heritage Team for the Mudgeeraba Street Party and Heritage Week. Breeze Events combined a ‘street party’ feel with elements of heritage and history of Mudgeeraba. Street parade, vintage cars, wood turners, sculptures, kid’s activities and involvement from local groups and eateries.

5. Women’s Health & Wellbeing Expo. Having organised this event for the last three years Breeze Events pulled off another two day exhibition and trade show that showcased over 60 exhibitors from the health and well-being sector. Over 40 workshops, seminars and fitness classes, interactive cooking demonstrations, fashion and hair shows, doctor forums and topical debates.

6. Opera at the Channon. Commissioned by the combined Rotary Clubs of Lismore we assisted with promotion and marketing and delivered an element of surprise to an event that needed some extra magic. Set amongst the bush land of the famous Channon hills in Nimbin, you could enjoy silver service or BYO picnics whilst enjoying performers and the open air opera by leading Opera Australia performers.

7. Groove ‘n’ Food Festival. Held in beautiful Burleigh Heads, Miami and Nobbys on the Gold Coast, Breeze Events mixed it up over three days. The festival was bursting with community spirit and originality including market stalls, food tents, chef displays, beer & wine master classes, progressive degustation (The Groove Train) and favourite local musicians.

8. GC Pet & Animal Expo.  Now in its 13th year the Pet & Animal Expo is everything pets, animal and wild. Presented by the City of Gold Coast, Breeze Events helped coordinate this special event on their behalf bringing over 100 exhibitors from animal related industries together for demonstrations, live animal shows and an awesome pet atmosphere.  Special guest Chris Humfrey spoiled the kids with non stop action in his Wild Action Zoo zone.

9. Robina Carols. We were asked to coordinate this Christmas event and add some creative flair. There are over 29 carols on the Gold Coast every December and our role was to give the Cbus Super Carols Under the Stars a unique edge. Live session musicians and incredible vocal talent featuring special guest Mahalia Barnes made the Robina Carols light up the Robina skylight.

10. Hindu Wedding Ceremony. Hindu meets beachside elegance in a unique beachside wedding. Lennox Head beachfront provided a stunning backdrop where one became two in a cultural Hindu extravaganza. Guest dined on a delicious Indian feast, were entertained by bollywood dancers, Indian drummers and dancing in the streets of Lennox Heads. The outdoor marquee was brimming with colour and themed to recreate an authentic Indian wedding experience.

11. Wedding Reception & Cocktail Party, Byron Beach Café. Simple elegance with a natural earthy tone was the event brief. Breeze Events themed this reception to match the bush and beach surroundings of the Byron Beach Cafe. Guests were treated to an oyster and prawn bar while sipping chilled champagne and then feasted on delectable array of innovative and mind blowing canapé’s

12. Reedy Creek Shopping Village Christmas and Birthday Celebration Fun Day. Celebrating their 3rd birthday Breeze Events were once again commissioned to create a fun day out for the local community. Themed with all things Christmas, including a visit from Santa, jumping castles and Christmas decorating workshops.
