Sea World Resort – Breeze Bites

Sea World Resort is an oldie but a goodie. An absolute stayer in the industry being Queensland’s very first resort to enter into the Tourism Hall of Fame for Best Training Initiative – translating to…the staff must be good.

Set between the Gold Coast’s spectacular Broadwater and the sea, Sea World Resort is an idyllic location for conferences, events, weddings, holidays, one day adventures and dinning – it’s a one stop resort shop. You literally do not need to leave once you’re there.

The hotel rooms are a teeny weenie bit out dated with oldish décor, but the amount of time you actually spend in your room is very limited - it’s what’s outside.

Access to the number one theme park on the Gold Coast (plus all other theme parks), spectacular beaches, amazing water sports, Sea World’s resort extras; water park, newly renovated kids club, animal adventures, SpongeBob light show, meet a character and all the dinning options.

In terms of dinning there’s something for everyone. Mouth-watering buffets, authentic Japanese and much more, in fact six more dining options to choose from (including my favourite room service).

Also Sea World Resort just announced a new multi-million dollar state of the art conference centre, capable of catering to 1000 people. The new conference centre is due for completion in 2015 – something to look forward to Event Planners?! 

This will be a welcome addition to the already six conference venues currently in operation at the resort.

Even though throughout the resort is in need of a little renovation and rooms updating; it is still a fantastic holiday with all your needs catered for.

This resort is the heart and adventure of the Gold Coast.
