Royal Pines – Breeze Bites

This hotel is a golfer’s dream – offering a renowned 27- hole golf course and state of the art driving range, and to my new found knowledge the course is proudly home to the Australia PGA Championship and Gold Coast Ladies Masters. My husband tells me this….But if you’re not into golf, never fear.

What I like the best about Royal Pines, it stands at the centre amongst beautiful gardens that seem to go on forever. The grounds around this hotel are amazing – so much space, 100-hectares to be precise.

You can take a walk around and almost get lost while stumbling across, a chapel, bunkers, rugby fields and fish filled ponds with magic stepping stones.

Smart and contemporary, Royal Pines Resort offers everything to everyone. It is a short distance from the beach, but really who wants to go to the beach when you have everything at your doorstep.

This hotel is also a child’s all day playground – check this out. Outdoor lagoon pool with slippery slides, playground with jumping pillow, tennis, time out adventures, and walk on water in an Ozbobble or make a music video/DVD with Bopping Heads Music. Seriously, can it get any better?

Yes it can.

The rooms are great with amazing views; there are seven restaurants to choose from (the high tea overlooking the pool is fantastic) and every year the facilities at Royal Pines just get better and better. I’m talking upgrades, upgrades, upgrades.

Starting with a new world class gymnasium, new bathrooms in every room, preparations are underway for the golf course and the conference centre is just about to undergo major renovations.

So, if all this is not enough to get you there and see for yourself how fantastic this hotel - nothing will.
