Looking for the ultimate getaway…with nature? If the rainforest and being at one with spiders and snakes are your thing (just kidding no spiders or snakes, lots of nature though)? Look no further than Mouse House Springbrook.  Not a conference venue insight, but if you’re desperate for a getaway, I give this place the thumbs up.

This unique rainforest retreat getaway offers a choice of 12 chalets nestled within the peaceful rainforest, 30 minutes drive from the Gold Coast. Set on 14 incredible acres and neighbours the World Heritage Springbook, it’s like you’re in another world, a mystical one, kind of like Alice in Wonderland, Australian style.

It’s enchanted (I’ll most likely use this word another couple of times) rainforest with tranquillity, birds signing and cascading streams – you’re truly in the bosom of Mother Nature.

The accommodation is amazing and consists of 12 chalets scattered amongst the rainforest. All 12 are individually designed for romantic couples, honeymooners and nature lovers. Chalets come with all the mod cons and lovely spa baths; some inside and some outside with nature.

In terms of dinning they’re all self-contained chalets; bring your own food, booze and snacks. There is complimentary tea and coffee, but that is it. There are no shops, no bars or restaurants. It’s all about the enchanting surrounds, nature and looking after yourself in the bush… in a lovely chalet though not a tent.

Definitely worth a stay and explore.
