Welcome to the latest and greatest from Breeze Events. March…a rather sluggish month, still takes me a while to sink my teeth into the New Year and really get things rolling. Of course my team are the complete opposite and have been working their tails off for the Mudgeeraba Street Party that is coming up in May.

An amazing community event where Mudgeeraba comes to life with all things local, colour, live entertainment, delicious street food and the famously awesome street parade down Swan Lane and Railway street (not to be missed).

Breeze Events is also proud to celebrate with the National Heritage Trust all things surprising and unexpecting, featuring a pop-up museum at the Mudgeeraba Memorial Hall during the Mudgeeraba Street Party. Think you’ve seen a museum or two? Think again. Come and check out the early settlement of the Gold Coast, you won’t believe how it used to look.

Breeze Events will also be coordinating the presentation to a very deserving entrant of the 2016 Daphne Pirie Spirit of Sport Award.

  5. Get awesome speakers

Monthly bite (what’s trending in 2016)

According to Event Styling what is in for 2016 for weddings is grazing stations/shared plates and food trucks.

Gone are the days of choosing chicken, beef or fish for your guests' main affair. Now more than ever guests are personalising their menu a little more and presenting them in a grazing station or shared platter style for all to tuck in.

This style of eating is to encourage guests to interact and get talking. Just like Christmas dinner with the family. Food trucks are also becoming popular adding a bit of quirk to a relaxed style wedding. Pizza and Taco stations are a growing trend and Ice-pop stands after your summer ceremony are a big hit too!
