For those thinking Hayman Island is not the 5 star Island/luxury hotel it once was – think again. It is still one of the leading hotels in the world and inducted into the Australian Tourism Awards Hall of Fame.  Hayman offers a genuine island experience of seclusion and natural beauty, while pampering you with exceptional luxury and sensory pleasure.

Hayman Island is nestled in the Great Barrier Reef with a scenic 55 minute boat cruise from Hamilton Island or if you’re the rich and famous a magnificent 15 minute flight by helicopter or sea plane.

When dinning there are 12 choices (remember this is an intimate island). Ranging from the pool bar to an intimate dinner for two overlooking the crystal waters or have one of their chefs prepare dinner on your terrace customised to your style and taste. Dinning is truly an experience with impeccable service where staff are seen but not heard.

When rating a place like Hayman Island its hard not to give it 5 stars in every category. I’ve experienced this breathtaking Island and how easy it is to get there, stay there, eat there and enjoy it there. But you never see a straight 5 stars in each category – why is that? Is there always some little flaw? Well I didn’t see any while I was there, so for Hayman I am giving it 5/5 in every category.
