The latest in event technology

New event technologies are entering the market every week and having the time and resources to research what is right for your event is not easy.  The question you have to ask – what technologies can you use to enhance your event as well as keeping costs down?

A new technology that I came across WILL blow the budget in every sense of the word, but definitely worth a mention and the wow factor is incomparable.   At an event in the states (Las Vegas no less) attendees walked through a fogscreen to the opening reception. 

This new fogscreen technology allows event planners to project corporate logos, messages and other images onto a fogscreen that is dry, so attendees walk through the fog without getting wet.

This cool new technology projects images onto fog from a projection screen that is mounted above. Tap water is regulated from a control unit, and requires about 1 to 2.5 gallons of water, depending on requirements. I know this is elaborate, but what an entrance.

For something a little more subtle.  Your event or corporate event should be at least ‘tech friendly’. The digital transformation of the workplace has been going on for several years now, so there’s the expectation that your event attendees should have everyday features of a modern networking space.

Include mobile phone charging stands, free WIFI access, and wireless printing capability. These are simple technology ingredients to creating a desirable event.

Also cutting edge technology is in event lighting too. Check out themed pattern projection; a creative use of projecting light is a great way to make your venue stand out in a unique and colourful manner.
