Q1 Skypoint – Breeze Bites

I’m sure I don’t need to rabbit on about why Q1 is what it is…fabulous. Every one of you (my lovely readers) have been there…and if you haven’t, you can’t call yourself a real Gold Coast local.

Humour me and you might learn something about Q1 that you didn’t know and why it’s the Gold Coast’s best tourist attraction.

For starters it’s Australia’s only beachside observation deck; rising an impressive 230 meters into the sky, which incidentally the elevator ride up is an attraction in itself. Skypoint boasts the highest enclosed viewing area of the Gold Coast and is regarded as one of the Coast’s most popular attractions and a must see destination for locals and visitors.

I love it – I had a yearly pass and went up once a week to enjoy the food and views. It’s an absolute must for visiting friends and family. 

The food is awesome in the bar and cafe, if not slightly over priced, however that is what you pay when visiting any leading attraction and the service is great day or night. During the day you can see all the way down to Byron and at night take in the views from Brisbane – magical, this place should be a wedding venue.

Of course it is, you can have the ultimate wedding celebration or event on level 78 at the iconic SkyPoint. This is a popular choice for brides searching for a wedding venue with stunning views, privacy and an elegant atmosphere. And my favourite, sky sunrise yoga - imagine yoga in the clouds then a healthy breakfast afterwards.

Weather you choose to have your event 270 meters above sea level, yoga with the sun god or a skypoint climb, the breathtaking 360 degree views of Q1 is an enjoyable time for all.
