A huge “THANK YOU” for the opportunity to speak at the Women’s Health and Wellbeing Expo at Robina Community Centre today, which I sincerely appreciate and I am truly grateful for, as I enjoyed the workshop immensely and had loads of fun delighting in all on offer at the Expo.

"A huge thank you to you Jo" Our family reunion was amazing. We caught up with relatives we hadn't seen for over 30 years. Mum and her sister were delighted to see each other after not having seen each other for more than 7 years, due to travel restrictions. The venue was perfect! It enabled us all to spend as much time or little time together in a truly remarkable location near the beach. Thank you for all the extra special touches; the lei's, sunglasses, table settings and most of all for putting such an incredible movie together from all the material you received from the relatives. The reunion was such a success we have rebooked the venue for another family get together in 2013.

Once again - thank you for making it such a special reunion filled with lots of fun, laughter, great food and most importantly irreplaceable memories with our family.

Please pass on my congratulations to the organisers of the Women's Expo which I attended on Sunday 18th May at Robina Community Centre. I was there all day, and loved every minute of it. Had I realised how good it was going to be, I would have attended on Saturday as well. My only complaint would be that I did not have enough time to visit all the stands and see more of the presentations. We enjoyed having such a brilliant exposure to a huge cross section of the Gold Coast. Women of all ages & backgrounds. The event is just the right length of time (2 days). We introduced over 100 new clients to our business (confirmed because they purchased passes). And we will receive long term brand exposure that will have an ongoing benefit to our business. We look forward to this event every year and this year was the best of the lot.

“Featuring some of the greatest rhythm and blues music artists from around Australia, Jo Kane successfully ran the Beer Bourbon Blues Festival - held three times a year over three nights. And she did this for us for four years.

“Cleverly positioned at the Gold Coast International Hotel 'Planters Bar' the festival always had a comfortable and intimate feel. Jo handled everything from bookings, contracts, accommodation, stage equipment, line-up timing, menu planning, program and signage design, sponsorship, PR and marketing, budgeting, pull down and evaluations. How she managed to do it all so well – and always with a smile – is a mystery to me.”  

“We were in a hurry. It seemed crazy to try it at all. But Jo managed to organise our commitment ceremony in three weeks! There were only forty guests but we still wanted it to be special. And it was. Jo had found the perfect venue: On the 20^th floor of the Marina Mirage in a gorgeous penthouse suite.”

“We only had four face-to-face meetings with Jo, but she was constantly in touch. Our day was unforgettably elegant, sophisticated and fun. Nothing felt rushed. In fact, it feel like it had be planned over a year – not three weeks!”

“How do you get middle-aged people to agree to wearing togas? For my fortieth birthday, Jo miraculously made this happen. She enticed my interstate and overseas guests with a brilliant toga-themed invitation - and always made sure they had everything they needed.

“The marquee at the back looked just like a Grecian palace. The spit roast banquet was the perfect touch. The live band was a buzz, but no one will forget seeing my life’s most magical (and funny) moments projected onto a backdrop screen. And EVERYONE wore a toga!”
